Job Title: RN - ICU Step Down Care Specialist
Duties: Provide nursing care for patients transitioning out of the ICU who require close monitoring and support. Responsibilities include managing IV therapy, phlebotomy, conscious sedation, and frequent assessments of patients using equipment such as catheters, feeding tubes, tracheostomies, ventilators, and cardiac monitors. Respond to cardiac arrest and rapid response codes, ensuring timely intervention.
Experience: Two years of experience in Medical/Surgical Step Down or ICU care. Proficient in IV insertion, phlebotomy, and conscious sedation.
Education: Graduate of an accredited National League of Nursing School with a valid New York State RN License.
Certifications & Licenses: BLS, ACLS, RN License.
Stipend Range:
Weekly stipend: $3,800 - $4,600
Monthly stipend: $15,800 - $19,500
Salary : $15,800 - $19,500
