Job Description : Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery (L&D)
Location : Denton, TX
Shift : Day Shift, 12 hours (7 : 00 AM - 7 : 00 PM)
Contract Duration : 13 Weeks with possible extension
Compensation : Upto $2200 Weekly
Position Overview :
We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for a Travel Nursing position in the Labor and Delivery (L&D) unit . The successful candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered care for expectant mothers and newborns in a high-volume hospital with some high-acuity cases.
Responsibilities :
- Provide comprehensive care to laboring patients, including monitoring fetal heart rates, administering medications, assisting with deliveries, and supporting patients through the labor process.
- Manage care for both low and high-acuity obstetric patients in a busy, fast-paced L&D environment.
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Perform assessments, develop care plans, and provide education to patients and families.
- Assist with newborn care, including post-delivery assessments and initial care routines.
- Adhere to hospital policies, protocols, and safety guidelines at all times.
- Provide emotional support to patients and families during labor and delivery.
- Work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while also being able to function independently when needed.
