RN Obstetric Labor Nurse
Description:
The RN Obstetric Labor Nurse cares for mothers during labor, delivery, and the immediate post-partum period. This role includes performing assessments, monitoring fetal heart tones, administering medications, and assisting during deliveries. The nurse will also provide emotional support to families and educate them on the birthing process. Night shifts, along with weekend and holiday rotations, are part of this role.
Mandatory Skills:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
- Expertise in fetal monitoring, labor management, and delivery room procedures.
- Experience with high-risk pregnancies and obstetric emergencies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for family interaction.
- Flexibility for night shifts, weekends, and holiday coverage.
Pay:
Medium/High Range: $90,000 - $110,000 per year
