Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager to lead and guide a team of RNs, LPNs, and CNAs to ensure high-quality patient care in a nursing and rehab setting. The successful candidate will supervise daily patient care, assist in staffing and scheduling, and mentor nursing staff for their professional development. The role includes maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations, ensuring patient-centered care, and supporting staff through audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and guide nursing staff, ensuring adherence to care policies and best practices.
- Supervise patient care, including assessments, medication administration, and documentation.
- Adjust care plans as necessary, based on patient needs.
- Participate in staffing and scheduling to maintain efficiency.
- Mentor nursing staff, fostering professional growth and development.
- Conduct audits to monitor and improve compliance with quality standards.
- Coordinate care among the healthcare team and facilitate communication.
- Advocate for patients and address their concerns to enhance patient-centered care.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies in accordance with protocols.
- Ensure accurate documentation in electronic health records.

Qualifications:
- 2 years of recent RN management experience in a nursing home or rehab setting.
- Current RN License
- AHA BLS certification required
