RN - Wound and Ostomy Specialist
Duties:
- Provide individualized care for patients with ostomies, fistulas, and complex wounds.
- Teach patients and families techniques to prevent complications and improve outcomes.
- Evaluate patient progress and document care provided.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to improve care standards and patient satisfaction.
- Educate and support new clinical staff on wound care procedures.
Required Skills:
- 2 years of Med/Surg experience with wound care expertise
Education & Certifications:
- New York State RN License
- AHA BLS Certification
- Certified in Wound Care (CWS, CWCN, or similar)
