RN - Wound Care Coordinator
Duties:
- Conduct focused physical assessments and provide treatment recommendations for wound care patients.
- Train and mentor clinical staff on best practices in wound care and prevention.
- Participate in hospital-wide quality improvement initiatives and prevalence studies.
- Collaborate with the nursing leadership team to recommend evidence-based practices.
- Manage patient care consultations in office and in-home settings.
Required Skills:
- 2 years of Med/Surg experience with wound care specialization
Education & Certifications:
- New York State RN License
- AHA BLS Certification
- Certification in Wound Care (WCC, CWCN, or similar)
