School Health Coordinator
Pay : Total stipend of $127,000 annually
Qualifications :
Valid state-issued School Nurse Certification
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
CPR and First Aid certifications
Completed background check and legal work authorization in the U.S.
Performance Responsibilities :
Coordinates the overall health services program within the school, overseeing all health-related activities and ensuring compliance with state health mandates.
Assesses and monitors the health status of students, providing care and referrals as necessary.
Tracks and maintains health records for all students, including immunizations, medical histories, and other necessary documentation.
Provides direct health education services, helping students and staff understand health risks and promoting wellness practices.
Acts as a liaison between parents, healthcare providers, and the school system to address and manage student health concerns.
Handles health-related emergencies, providing immediate response and coordinating follow-up care.
Manages student health issues, ensuring appropriate responses to medical conditions such as allergies, asthma, and diabetes.
