Performance Responsibilities:
- Coordinates the overall health services program within the school, overseeing all health-related activities and ensuring compliance with state health mandates.
- Assesses and monitors the health status of students, providing care and referrals as necessary.
- Tracks and maintains health records for all students, including immunizations, medical histories, and other necessary documentation.
- Provides direct health education services, helping students and staff understand health risks and promoting wellness practices.
- Acts as a liaison between parents, healthcare providers, and the school system to address and manage student health concerns.
- Handles health-related emergencies, providing immediate response and coordinating follow-up care.
