Scope of Services :
The Senior Application Programmer will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing complex enterprise applications. Responsibilities include :
- Resolving system emergencies independently or in collaboration with IT staff and users.
- Researching and addressing program, data, or system software issues of a highly technical nature.
- Providing expert-level guidance on application tools, hardware, software, and databases.
- Conducting specialized training for IT staff on databases, tools, and application development.
- Staying updated on hardware / software advancements and recommending new methodologies.
- Designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting highly complex applications.
- Implementing both in-house and vendor-supplied applications.
- Evaluating technical solutions for information system management.
- Designing and documenting database structures and creating user guides.
- Managing enhancement requests and new development projects.
- Preparing and supervising formal system testing procedures.
- Monitoring work plans to ensure timely delivery and data integrity.
