Job Title: Senior Developer
Duration: 6 Months (Tentative)
Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid)
Seeking an experienced Senior Developer to support and enhance enterprise eligibility and case management systems, including the Benefit Eligibility and Control On-line Network (BEACON) and associated legacy systems. Responsibilities include development, maintenance, troubleshooting, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain midrange applications using Java, XML, HTML, etc.
- Analyze and troubleshoot program code, reports, and processes.
- Conduct testing, prepare test data, and review outputs.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts to clarify requirements and develop solutions.
- Write and maintain documentation, including test plans and status reports.
- Experience: 8-12 years in web application design and development using Java EE and JBoss.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in Java, UML, SOAP/REST (Apache CXF), Spring, Hibernate, and SQL.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented design and database concepts.
- Expertise in web services, JavaScript, AJAX, and integration on JEE platforms.
- Experience in Agile development and Oracle, Unix scripting.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Preferred:
- Experience with eligibility rules engines or Health and Human Services systems.
