What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Strategic Procurement Analyst - Sourcing & Contracts Management - SSPA position at NavitsPartners?
The selected candidate will provide expert procurement support for outsourced services
This includes sourcing of service providers utilizing the Sourcing Management Process for strategic analysis, supply markets and supply chains
In addition, this resource will manage efforts in sourcing and procurement, develop implementation plans to drive proposed changes in procurement create / plan sourcing initiatives as well as effectively perform analysis and / or lead teams to conduct analysis depending on project scope
The resource will also review, negotiate, and manage contract execution and filing
The resource will work closely with the Procurement team and other internal stakeholders and their suppliers to review and negotiate contracts and establish purchase orders
They will work within the team to develop and manage a procurement schedule that will enable the work to be completed based upon funding availability and planned durations
Works effectively with team and maintain communications throughout the procurement process with Program Manager and Procurement team. 70-75% of your day will be spent managing day to day operations (sourcing, PO's, quote / cost verifications, quotes / RFQ's & RFP's, purchasing / analysis and other reporting, strategic sourcing, invoicing & contracts)
The remaining time will be spent performing analytics and strategic initiatives, process improvements, preparing documents, and use of Adobe Sign

Qualifications :
A Bachelor's degree is required; A Masters preferred in business, accounting, engineering, supply chain. 3-5 years of experience with Masters. 7 years with Bachelors.
Resource should show demonstration of analytical experience, stakeholder & supplier management, purchasing / analysis and other reporting, strategic sourcing, invoicing. Experience working with all levels of all departments / groups / teams in and outside of the organization
You are comfortable representing your company to another company through strong communication, negotiation, and leadership ability. You are extremely comfortable with significant leadership interaction. Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
Experience with stakeholder management and cross functional team experience.
This position requires agility and speed. Someone who is good at what they do and has a firm grasp on the role; someone who can get in, get out and get the job done with little to no guidance.
You should be technology proficient and be able to learn new systems quickly!
You must also have a desire to close out tasks and move forward with the next task quickly and efficiently without sacrificing quality.
Proven experience in applying well-developed problem solving skills (quantitative, conceptual, analytical)
Presentation skills (both with the ability to create flawless presentations using PowerPoint software & also having the ability, tenacity and confidence to present to peers and upper leadership / stakeholders.
Resource should have prior procurement experience (sourcing, PO's, quote / cost verifications, quotes / RFQ's & RFP's, purchasing / analysis and other reporting, strategic sourcing, invoicing.)
Nice to have experience / skills are as follows :
In addition to proficiency with the use of personal computers and business software - Microsoft Office, resource should have Advanced Excel skills for activities such as Macros, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP's. In addition, SAP e-sourcing, SAP Ariba, Power BI and top-notch PowerPoint skill
Resource should also have strong Project Management & coordination skills. Resource should be able to balance multiple priorities at once and meet aggressive timelines.
