Specialty Medical Scribe – Cardiology
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in medical sciences or related field.
- Five years of experience as a medical scribe, preferably in cardiology.
- Expertise in EPIC EMR and cardiovascular medical documentation.
- Strong knowledge of cardiac terminology, diagnostic procedures, and treatments.
- Excellent communication and medical writing skills.
- Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance if working onsite.
Duties:
- Record and transcribe detailed cardiac patient encounters in EPIC EMR.
- Assist cardiologists with documentation of diagnostic tests, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Ensure accurate transcription of EKG, echocardiogram, and stress test results.
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and ensure security of patient data.
- Support physicians with clinical workflow optimization.
