Staff Accountant – Retail Industry (REMOTE)
Location : Remote
Contract Duration : 6 Months
We are seeking a skilled accounting professional to support our team in managing IT invoices, contracts, and financial compliance. This is a fully remote opportunity for an individual with expertise in Planview and Ariba .
Key Responsibilities :
- Invoice Reconciliation : Review and reconcile IT invoices based on hours entered in Planview (PPM tool)
- Labor Invoice Verification : Validate invoices against timesheets to ensure compliance with Capital vs. Expense accounting policies
- Contract & SOW Review : Analyze contracts and SOWs to ensure proper accounting treatment
- Ariba Processing : Create contracts or purchase requisitions in Ariba based on SOW details
- Vendor Coordination : Monitor outstanding invoices, work with vendors, and ensure timely payments
- Collaboration : Partner with the Project Management Team to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Audit Assistance : Support both internal and external audit requests
- Financial Compliance : Ensure all processes align with internal control policies and procedures
- Accrual & Adjustment Support : Work with business partners to collect relevant information for accruals and adjustments
Qualifications & Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Experience with Planview (PPM tool) and Ariba preferred
Strong invoice reconciliation and contract review skills
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently
Strong communication and collaboration skills
