Surgical Room Coordinator

Duties:

• Support surgical teams in preparing, performing, and concluding clinical procedures.
• Escort patients to the operating area, review medical charts, and confirm necessary documentation.
• Set up and maintain sterile surgical instruments, trays, and equipment.
• Take radiographs during procedures and ensure proper patient monitoring.
• Assist with medication management, suctioning, and vital sign monitoring during surgery.
• Clean and disinfect the surgical environment post-procedure, ensuring proper waste management.
• Stock supplies and monitor inventory to ensure surgical readiness.

Skills Required:

• Dental Assistant Certification and BLS certification are mandatory.
• 3-5 years of relevant surgical experience.
• Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail.

Education:

• Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's preferred.
