Surgical Support Specialist
Duties:
- Assist in oral surgery and other procedures by providing four-handed support to clinicians.
- Review patient charts and ensure all documentation is accurate and complete.
- Prepare the surgical area with clean, disinfected equipment and instruments.
- Take and process radiographs as requested during procedures.
- Support patient care by monitoring vitals and ensuring comfort during surgeries.
- Manage post-procedure tasks, including cleaning and waste disposal.
- Maintain and stock medical and surgical supplies.
Skills Required:
- Dental Assistant Certification and current BLS certification required.
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience; 5 years preferred.
- Proficiency in written and verbal communication.
Education: Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree is advantageous.
Stipend Range: $88,000 - $112,000 annually.
