We are seeking an entry-level X-Ray Technician to perform diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety and compliance with regulatory standards. This role is ideal for recent graduates with a New York State Radiologic Technologist License and ARRT certification looking to gain hands-on experience in a professional healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct X-ray procedures following established protocols for high-quality imaging.
Prepare and position patients, explaining procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation.
Follow radiation safety protocols, including patient shielding and exposure minimization.
Process and review radiographic images, making necessary adjustments for clarity.
Maintain accurate patient records and verify completed exams.
Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on radiology equipment.
Adhere to infection control and workplace safety guidelines.
Manage radiology supplies and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Stay current with industry standards and continuing education requirements.
Qualifications:
Licenses & Certifications:
New York State Radiologic Technologist License (L.R.T).
