Archimedes is hiring a full-time nurse to work with our employer, health system and health plan clients to manage the specialty drug benefit. Archimedes is a specialty drug management company with industry-leading technology and services that health plans and employer groups can use to manage specialty drug spend. We are expanding our team and looking for a clinical professional who has drug management experience and a passion for managed care. Given our continued growth trajectory, we are looking for a person who can grow with the company.
Responsibilities
- Deliver telephonic support to identified patients, caregivers, healthcare professionals and their staff with primary care or specialist facilities related to specialty drug management.
- Lead the high touch case management in producing quantifiable, quality results for Archimedes’ programs.
- Maintain excellent quality and superior customer service while adhering to goals of program.
- Develop and strengthen relationships with members, prescribers, pharmacies and other vendors.
- Facilitate the development and provision of services across multiple healthcare sectors.
Qualifications
- RN Preferred
- 5 years of work experience in nursing, managed care supporting case management, medical management and/or utilization management.
- Experience in medical management/billing at a health plan or TPA
- Excellent interpersonal skills and articulate on the phone
- Efficient, yet attentive to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
- Excellent critical thinking skills with ability to quickly spot issues
- Quantitative and analytical, yet engaging and personable
- Independent, proactive, forward-thinking, creative problem solver, results-oriented with strong verbal/written communication skills, self-starter
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and SQL experience is a plus
- Ability and willingness to be in office up to 5 days a week (standard 3).
