Pay Range

USD $112,640.00 - USD $140,800.00 /Yr.

Overview

Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a Systems Quality Manager to join our team!

 

The Systems Quality Manager ensures the streamlined operation of the Systems Quality testing team in alignment with the customer-focused objectives and the IT Vision; a collaborative partner delivering innovative ideas, solutions, and services to simplify people's lives. This individual will plan, design, coordinate and align resources to support the daily activities of the team. The Manager will work closely with customers and decision makers to identify, recommend, develop, implement, support, and improve technical solutions for maintaining system quality. This position requires a demonstrated level of understanding and experience with complex transactional systems and system integration platforms.

Responsibilities

How do I make an impact on my team? 

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of quality assurance testers providing clear direction, setting performance expectations, and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment
• Collaborate closely with release train engineers, product owners, product managers, business analysts, development teams, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements, translate them into test plans, and ensure successful project execution
• Ensure that software products meet high-quality standards through thorough test planning, testing of new functionality, and robust automated regression testing suites
• Manage staffing, including recruitment, supervision, performance management, scheduling, development, evaluation, and disciplinary actions
• Participate in strategic and operational planning for Navitus technology initiatives
• Cultivate an environment of collaboration so that Quality Assurance will seamlessly align with development and product implementation
• Influence standardization of Quality Assurance best practices across departments
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

What our team expects from you?

• Four-year college or university degree and/or a minimum of eight years of work experience
• Leadership of a multi-disciplinary team is required
• Demonstrated experience leading a high performing team
• Demonstrated experience with complex transactional systems and system integration platforms
• ISTQB: Test Management – Advanced (desired), Agile Testing (desired), and Foundation Level Testing (desired)
• Experience with Agile methodologies and Agile project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, etc
• Experience testing cloud-native applications in any primary public cloud provider: AWS, or Azure, or GPC Experience in AWS is a plus
• Demonstrated application of data privacy practices and laws
• Healthcare industry practices and HIPAA knowledge preferred
• Extensive experience in human resource management principles, practices, and procedures
• Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives
• The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees
