Skills Required:
- A strong knowledge of computers and how they operate, which includes having a broad understanding of hardware and software, operating systems and basic computer programs is a must for this position.
- Comfort working in an extremely fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of IT Helpdesk practices with strong emphasis on customer service.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of VoIP phones systems is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for users seeking technical assistance over the phone or email.
- A strong knowledge of computers and how they operate, which includes having a broad understanding of hardware and software, operating systems and basic computer programs is a must for this position.
- Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions.
- Walk the users through the problem-solving process.
- Assist On-Boarding of new employees and creating their accounts in Office 365 and assigning the appropriate permissions based on role and department and provide new hires with basic introduction to hardware and software.
- Record events and problems and their resolution in helpdesk tickets.
- Maintain documentation and creating and editing FAQ in the knowledge base and keep procedures that part of daily tasks up to date.
- A small percentage of travel may be required depending on project assignment.
