Role Description
- Technical Proficiency:
- Extensive experience with DELL hardware, OpenManage Enterprise (OME) software, and Supermicro servers.
- Strong expertise in PCIe infrastructure, storage concepts (SAS/SATA, NVMe), and system-level concepts (PCIe VDM, L2C).
- Proficiency in VMWare, Linux OS (Ubuntu, Debian, RHEL), virtual environments (VMs), Kubernetes, and embedded systems.
- Telecom/Wireless Experience:
- Minimum of 7-10 years' experience in the telecom/wireless industry, specifically in the RAN domain.
- Deep understanding of 5G ORAN split functions, RAN/vRAN software architectures, RF Radio operations, and vRAN/ORAN architecture as described in 3GPP standards.
- Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting:
- Ability to identify product weaknesses, provide design guidance, and develop corrective actions.
- Experience in debugging using protocol analyzers and troubleshooting intricate issues in enterprise solutions.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for drafting technical solutions, documenting proposals, and maintaining records.
- Ability to work closely with support teams, engineers, and vendors to resolve complex issues and improve support processes.
- Process Improvement and Management:
- Experience in driving continuous development and enhancements of server hardware platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments, oversee incident management processes, and contribute to ongoing process improvement reviews using KPI metrics.
