You will manage the Visual Merchandising Program which includes the oversight of a team of visual merchandising personnel. At the Naval Station Everett…no two days will look the same. VISUAL MERCHANDISING MANAGER Total of five years of experience as follows :
GENERAL EXPERIENCE Three years of experience which was gained in administrative, technical, or other responsible work which enabled the applicant to gain an understanding of visual merchandising techniques and methods and skills in the area of attractive display merchandise presentation and in-store signing.
OR SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE 1 year of related academic study above the high school level may be substituted for 9 months of experience up to a maximum of a 4-year bachelor’s degree for 3 years of general experience.
AND SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE Two years of responsible experience which provided knowledge of visual merchandising techniques and practices, display and presentation of merchandise and signing, maintaining equipment and materials, layout and installation of fixtures, and providing technical assistance or similar work which demonstrated the knowledge, skills, and abilities of visual merchandising display and in-store signing.
