- GENERAL EXPERIENCE** One year of carpentry experience, including measuring, cutting, nailing, bolting, doweling, gluing, planning, sanding, drilling, and finishing materials using various tools.
- SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE** One year of high school can substitute for three months of general experience, up to a High School Diploma or GED for one year of general experience.
- SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE** Five years in carpentry performing modifications and repairs per work orders, sketches, or blueprints. Experience includes repairing and installing structural items (rafters, door/window frames, trim), maintaining buildings, and constructing retail/service areas (closets, benches, tables).
- PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS** Ability to stand, stoop, bend, kneel, and climb in various positions, including scaffolds and ladders. Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
