Job Summary:
The Retail Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for assessing the efficiencies of NEXCOMs supply chain operations, performing assessments of inventory management, and enhancing the overall logistics and distribution processes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret supply chain data, including inventory levels, demand forecasts, supplier performance, and other relevant metrics. Identify trends and opportunities for process improvement.
- Create regular and ad hoc supply chain performance reports and present findings to key stakeholders. Clearly communicate insights and recommendations to support decision making. Identifies business requirements to develop dashboards for analysis, efficiencies and effectiveness.
- Collaborates with supply chain, financial, and inventory partners to identify opportunities, enhance analytics, develop new key performance indicators, and monitor continuous improvement over time.
- Implement forward looking and predictive analysis in supplier management, evaluating on time delivery, order minimum requirements, and overall supply chain efficiency. Identify and address current bottlenecks and inefficiencies while proactively anticipating future challenges.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by providing analysis and insights to optimize processes and streamline operations.
- Perform comprehensive inventory management by monitoring levels across retail locations and distribution centers, implementing strategies to minimize stock-outs and excess inventory. Assess potential supply chain risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions, regularly evaluating inventory KPIs. Provide proactive business analysis through the preparation of reports and actionable insights to address risks and optimize inventory performance.

A Total of 6 years of experience, consisting of the following:
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: 3 year of experience which was gained in professional, technical or other responsible work which enabled the applicant to gain a knowledge of supply chain principles, logistics, and inventory control best practices and the ability to analyze problems and recommend practical solutions using sound judgment.
OR SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE: One year of related academic study above the high school level may be substituted for 9 months of experience up to a maximum of a 4-year bachelors degree for 3 years of general experience.
OR SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: 3 years of progressive experience in the following: business and systems analysis, design, and implementation. Knowledge of standard development processes, operating systems, database languages, and programming languages, and tools. Including hands on experience developing test plans, test scenarios, test scripts, performing functional, and integration testing.
Preferred Skills: Familiarity with supply chain management software, ERP systems, and inventory management tools.
