Overview
- TRANSITIONING SERVICE MEMBERS ONLY AS PART OF THE DOD SKILLBRIDGE PROGRAM
To manage, influence, and lead development direction and optimal performance of business unit program initiatives. Develop, implement, evaluate, and lead users to comply with best practices to ensure timely and effective channel / program delivery and administration. To manage and facilitate implementation and coordination of multiple, large, and highly complex programs that affect and involve business unit activities. Ensure management review of initiatives from concept through planning, analysis, design, and testing, implementation, and transition phases. Create, design and manage program deliverables and solutions on schedule and within scope and budget.
Responsibilities
Review program-related data using performance measurements and indicators to identify areas for improvement and potential risk and develop action plans for each indicator or area identified and lead change managementConsult with leadership and business partners to effectively define KPIs and short / long-term goals and objectives, initiatives, and actions plansAnalyze overall program effectiveness; identify and address areas of opportunity and make recommendationsInnovatively identify and collaborate with management regarding the current and future needs and trends for programs and channels based on feedbackIdentify, scope, document, coordinate, and implement business solution requirements in accordance with program / channel and project goalsPerform qualitative and quantitative analysis using analytical techniques, tools, models, simulation, etc.Direct and lead work by developing and coordinating work plans, schedules, milestones, deliverables, and trainingManage program budgets including risk and impact of changes to program plansIdentify and minimizes risks or constraints that would impact program deliverablesIdentify, communicate, and resolve branch / division / department or cross-organizational areas of concern, that may impede or impact other programs / projects / initiativesMaintain / archive program documentationEnsure program deliverables are met in accordance with expectationsPrioritize and delegate assignments, including project analysis, requirements definition, and implementation of program modifications and enhancementsDevelop action plans for conducting internal analyses and collaborate with business partners to identify root causes for employee development gaps and establish solutionsManage multiple, large, and highly complex programsServe on teams and task groups for programs or initiatives of significant impact within the business unit & / or across the organizationEnsure effective initiative management of programs from inception through implementationMentor members of the team within the branch to ensure cooperation and consistent application of policies and proceduresParticipate in developing, modifying and executing department policies, standards, and processesProvides guidance on issues having department and / or organization-wide impactWork on complex issues requiring in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives and competing prioritiesSolves highly technical and complex problemsPerform other duties as assignedQualifications
Significant experience in workflow and program development including development of requirements documents, procedures, and implementation plansExtensive experience in managing multiple initiatives, and meet changing requirements and priorities to accomplish objectives and goals, independently or in a team environmentExtensive experience in collaborating across organizational boundaries and building partnerships across various functionsSignificant experience in leading, training, guiding and mentoring othersExtensive experience in working with leadership and management in diverse and complex operational environmentsDesired - Expert knowledge of Navy Federal's functions, philosophy, operations, and organizational objectivesDesired - Knowledge of systems and software used at Navy FederalDesired - Working knowledge of state and Federal laws; industry regulations, principles, and practices; and company policies that govern the business unit's products / servicesDesired - Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or the equivalent combination of training, education, and experienceExpert project management skills to include establishing and leading project teams; managing timelines / deadlines / resources; ensuring successful project implementationExpert planning, organizational and problem-solving skillsExpert skill identifying and analyzing business requirements and recommending solutionsExpert innovative thinking skills to solve problems and facilitate the decision-making processExpert verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including ability to communicate complex terms to all levels of audiencesExpert analytical thinking skills to include summarizing information and clearly identifying key elements, patterns, results, or relationshipsBachelor's Degree in Business, Management, or the equivalent combination of training, education, and experienceDesired - Project Management Professional (PMP), or the equivalent combination of training, education, and experienceHours : Monday - Friday 8 : 00AM - 4 : 30PM
Location : Vienna, VA
Salary : $110,500 - $162,850 (Per Comp guidelines) (Potential salary if hired by Navy Federal as a full-time employee : SkillBridge participants are not eligible for compensation from Navy Federal, as they continue to receive military compensation and benefits as active-duty service members.
