- Mix and serve alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks.
- Receive and record payment at time of sale.
- Maintain inventory of stock.
- Ensure bar is in a presentable and sanitary condition.
- Performs other related duties as required.

- Must pass all applicable records and background check.
- Must successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check. Any discrepancies must be resolved as a condition of employment.
- Must walk or stand for prolonged periods of time. Uses dolly to transport beer kegs.
- Work schedule is flexible and will vary as required by the needs of the program to include night, weekend, and holiday shifts as well as split days off.
- May have or obtain and maintain the following certification within 90 days of hire: Food Handlers and/or C.A.R.E (Controlling Alcohol Risks Effectively).
- Frequent light to moderate lifting and carrying objects weighing 5 to 15 pounds, pushing and pulling objects weighing 10 to 20 pounds and occasionally lifting up to and over 40 pounds.
- Must meet minimum state age requirements to prepare/serve alcohol.

- The incumbent must have the ability to visually recognize shortages of supplies at the bar such as beverages, beer, condiments, garnishes, glasses, napkins, and utensils, and to replace them as needed.
- Skill is needed to use knives and automatic slicers in the preparation of garnishes such as or oranges, limes, and lemons.
- The incumbent has the ability to serve non-mix drinks under the close technical guidance of a bartender.
