Custodian, Janitor - START ASAP!
We are looking to add a traveling cleaner, also known as a float, to our team. As a float, you would be responsible for providing coverage where necessary at various locations in the greater Flint and Burton areas. Do you like variety in your work? This position could be for you!
Full-Time Position:
- Monday-Friday: 3pm-11:30pm with occasional first or midday shifts (occasional weekend work may be available, as well)*
*Hours are subject to change during school breaks.
Pay: $17
Responsibilities:
- Vacuuming
- Mopping
- Dusting
- Cleaning restrooms
- Removing trash
- Operating a floor scrubber, or similar floor cleaning equipment
- Grounds maintenance
- Light maintenance duties
- As well as other cleaning tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Great attendance!
- Ability to clean in a variety of environments including medical settings, schools, manufacturing settings, offices, etc.
- Reliable vehicle to drive during shift as well as a valid driver's license and insurance
- Ability to pass a criminal background check, drug screening, ability to submit fingerprints to the state of Michigan to be authorized to work in public schools, and ability to pass a motor vehicle records check
- 18 years of age or older with valid ID
- Ability to work efficiently while upholding company’s quality standards
- Maintain effective communication with supervisors/managers and other team members
- Cleaning experience required.
