Custodian, Janitor - START ASAP!
We are seeking a dedicated general cleaner (custodian) to join our team in the greater Grand Rapids area!
On call openings:
- Weekdays, Monday-Friday:
- first shift: a 4-8 hour block of time starting between 6am-7am (you could be notified that you needed to cover as early as 4:30/5am).
- second shift: a 4-8 hour block of time that starts between 5pm-6pm.
- Weekends:
- Saturdays: 7am-3:30pm.
- Saturdays and Sundays: a 3 hour block of time after 6pm.
- Combination of weekdays and weekends: See above for potential hours.
Pay: $15/hr.
Responsibilities:
- Vacuuming
- Mopping
- Dusting
- Cleaning restrooms
- Removing trash
- Operating a floor scrubber or similar floor cleaning equipment
- As well as other cleaning tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Great attendance!
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test including for THC (in addition to submit fingerprints, if accepting a position in a school)
- 18 years of age or older with valid ID
- Ability to work efficiently while upholding company’s quality standards
- Maintain effective communication with supervisors/managers and other team members
- Previous cleaning experience preferred!
