Custodian, Janitor - START ASAP!
We are seeking a dedicated on call general cleaner (custodian) to join our team in the Flint area!
On call openings:
- Weekdays, Monday-Friday:
- first shift: a 4-8 hour block of time starting at 6am (you would be notified that you needed to cover as early as 4:30/5am).
- second shift: a 4-6 hour block of time that starts between 2:30pm and 5pm.
- Weekends, Saturday and Sunday: This person would set up and tear down for school events, plus work during them. The events can start as early as 8am and some go late into the night.
- Combination of weekdays and weekends: See above for potential hours.
Pay Rate: $13 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Vacuuming
- Mopping
- Dusting
- Cleaning restrooms
- Removing trash
- Operating a floor scrubber or similar floor cleaning equipment
- As well as other cleaning tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Great attendance!
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test
- 18 years of age or older with valid ID
- Ability to work efficiently while upholding company’s quality standards
- Maintain effective communication with supervisors/managers and other team members
