Custodian, Janitor - START ASAP!
We are seeking a dedicated general cleaner (custodian) to join our team in the Fruitport area!
Part time opening:
- Monday-Friday: 6pm-10pm (with occasional weekend work to set up and tear down for events)*
On call opening:
- Monday-Friday: on call as needed -- a 4-6 hour block of time that starts between 2:30pm and 5pm AND weekend availability (see next bullet)
- Weekends, Saturday and Sunday: This person would set up and tear down for school events, plus work during them. The events can start as early as 8am and some go late into the night. On call as needed.
*Schedule is subject to change during school breaks. We normally go to first shift during breaks.
Pay Rate: $14 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Vacuuming
- Mopping
- Dusting
- Cleaning restrooms
- Removing trash
- Operating a floor scrubber or similar floor cleaning equipment
- As well as other cleaning tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Great attendance!
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a federal background check with no past or pending criminal charges and drug test
- 18 years of age or older with valid ID
- Ability to work efficiently while upholding company’s quality standards
- Maintain effective communication with supervisors/managers and other team members
