Full Time Live Out Nanny Position in Bedford, NY!

A warm and welcoming family in Bedford, NY (10506) is searching for a full-time nanny/family assistant to begin March 3 The family has one 2.5-year-old boy. Both parents work from home some of the time and are looking for help with both their child and eventually, their home when he transitions to preschool in the form of family assistant support.

The family has two friendly dogs so please only apply if you are an animal lover!The family says: “We are looking for someone who is willing to share their opinions without being overly pushy. Team mentality. Someone warm, kind, good positive energy. Bubbly but not too much, knows how to pull back (comfortable with silence, doesn't need to fill it.) Location: Bedford, NY (Just moved from the West Coast and is temporarily in NYC until the end of February. Will compensate commute for a trial day.)

Guaranteed Schedule: M-F 9am-5pm (flexibility to sometimes stay later is requested.)

Compensation Package: $30 per hour DOE standard paid time off

Requirements:

• 5 years of professional childcare experience starting at the age of 18 (with ample experience as a nanny.)

• Current CPR/FA in-person certification

• Covid initial round one booster

• Current tdap

• Annual flu shot

• Clean driving record with a safe, reliable vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided for on the job driving)

• Clean criminal history (able to pass a thorough background check)

• Authorized to work in the US

• Valid US passport (ability to travel a couple times year)

• Bilingual (French/English) is HUGE plus but not a dealbreaker

Duties:

• Child related duties (Meal preparation for the children (healthy cooking), tidying after the kids, child laundry/bedding

• Once the child is in preschool, help with family laundry, organizational projects, errands, tidying, meal prep, dog walking, etc. (OR can potentially transition to part time hours, if child-related only is preferable.)
