Salary: 115K-125k
How You’ll Impact
The Construction Project Manager (CPM) is responsible for overseeing all restaurant construction related activities and projects and will ensure that all restaurants are constructed in accordance with the approved construction drawings. This role is responsible for applying effective management techniques to the planning, design, and construction phases of a new restaurant project from inception to completion for the purpose of controlling cost, time and quality.
What You’ll Do
- Manages our restaurant build outs and facilities from planning to execution
- Lends assistance during site selection by reviewing Landlord work letter
- Manages vendor relationships and negotiations for products, materials or services needed for construction
- Collaborates with design team during construction and build out phase
- Facilitates weekly project meetings with team
- Oversees tests fits, reviews and redlines drawings and develops an overall project schedule and budget for each project
- Reviews proposed master schedule, project documents and contracts to fully comprehend the specific scope of work
- Monitors and manages General Contractor’s (GC)
- Visits restaurants under construction at specific milestone events to ensure compliance with schedule, plans and quality
- Prepares and monitors punch list
- Purchases equipment and maintains installation schedules
- Successfully completes restaurant “turnover” to new restaurant opening team
- Prepares and maintains routine project status reports
- Attends public hearings or meetings as needed
- Facilitates on site repair and maintenance
- Additional duties as needed
Who You Are
- 7 years of related experience, QSR experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or above
- NYC based or within close proximity
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to self-manage timelines and deadlines and run a project from beginning to end
- Familiarity with reviewing and marking up plans
- Superior interpersonal skills and ability to earn trust and respect from colleagues, vendors, and third-party partners
- Thrives in a constantly evolving, fast-paced environment
- Known industry contacts/relationships
- Ability to travel as needed
