What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intake Coordinator/Receptionist position at Nayar Health Care?
We are looking for a reliable individual with past experience working in a busy office environment to join our Intake Coordinator team. The successful candidate should have strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask while remaining calm under pressure. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a healthcare setting and will be responsible for reviewing insurance coverage and appropriate documentation.
Duties of position:
- Greet people, answer the phones and light clerical duties
- Type memos, correspondence, agendas and reports as required
- Assist with accounting functions as assigned, e.g., ledger entering, account processing, etc
- Make appointments and informs staff members of meetings
- Maintain files for the agency
- Process referrals
- Communicate with clinical staff with patients updates
- Check common working files for Medicare Coverage and verification of benefit period
- Photocopying as required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
