A successful candidate in this role will be highly technical in business intelligence applications and data optimization while able to interface with internal stakeholders to ensure business measurement priorities are met. We are seeking a candidate who thrives in an environment that prioritizes impatience, excellence, resilience, and courage—someone who is excited about making an immediate impact while pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.This individual will work closely with our product, analytics and data engineering teams to help build a best in class data strategy that drives our leading benefits guidance products.Objectives and ResponsibilitiesUse business intelligence expertise to build models and strategies that generate actionable opportunities aligned to business stakeholder objectivesDesign and implement data visualization reporting solutions for business stakeholders to enable delivery of key performance metrics and ensure they are maintainable and scalable to changing business needsInterface with key business stakeholders to ensure data fluency needs are being met and support the adoption of self-service analyticsWork closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business intelligence needs that drive growth and innovation in product developmentIdentify opportunities to enhance and further automate current data collection, visualization, and reporting techniques to better manage the businessContribute to an efficient and effective data architecture that enables us to collect, store, analyze, model and report data for their software solutions and digital platformsEnsure strategies built are in compliance with relevant regulations and data protection lawsRequired Skills and QualificationsExperienced : 5 years of relevant experience in business intelligence and data analyticsExperience in redshift, snowflake or similar data warehouse to enable BI needs requiredStrong knowledge of SQL and DBT is requiredExperience developing and optimizing dashboards for business key stakeholders in Tableau, Looker, Power BI, Qlik,or Sigma required.Ability to partner with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative data and analytics solutionsMastery in interpreting and presenting data analysis, organized and unstructured data analysis, and data visualizationExpertise in data warehousing, data modeling, and database designExperience with Python and Pyspark highly preferred.Ability to convert data into usable information and insights that are easy for a non-technical audience to understandStrong verbal and written communication skillsExcellent organization and prioritization skillsCritical thinking skills, plus the intellectual curiosity to question / test assumptionsExcellent communication and collaborative skills - able to influence across multiple areas of the businessThe salary range for New York based candidates for this role is $140,000- $175,000.We use a location factor to adjust this range for candidates that are located outside of geographic region of our New York office.
