Your Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Software Engineer, Data to join our growing team at Nayya. In this role, you will lead the design and implementation of scalable internal APIs and services to access and enable the organization through data. You will work on building event processing infrastructure, high volume data APIs, and integrations with third party data sources and tools. As a Senior Software Engineer focused on data, you will play a key role in shaping our data systems' architecture, reliability, and performance while fostering innovation and collaboration across teams. This position provides an exciting opportunity to drive technical strategy and lead efforts to solidify and scale our data platform. The team maintains several internal facing services that enable access to highly sensitive data that powers our applications.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain our API integrations and internal data services.
- Enhance our data enrichment service to integrate with external / third party data sources.
- Maintain and improve an existing Python tech stack with a focus on security and scalability for data storage and API endpoints.
- Work with the internal stakeholders to build and maintain data access patterns to high volume data stores.
- Build and maintain SDKs used in our data pipelines to interface processing at scale with SORs.
Requirements
Nice to haves :
The salary range for New York based candidates for this role is $140,000-$175,000. We use a location factor to adjust this range for candidates that are located outside of geographic region of our New York office. Placement within the salary band is determined based on experience.
