We are looking for a passionate and driven Staff Engineer to join our growing engineering team at Nayya. As a Staff Engineer at a fast-paced, growth-stage startup, you will be a key player in building and scaling our platform, contributing to both technical and strategic decisions, and helping to shape the future of the company. You will work alongside a talented team of engineers to develop innovative solutions, tackle complex technical challenges, and maintain a strong focus on delivering high-quality products. You will have the opportunity to drive key initiatives and influence the direction of the product while fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership & Execution
- Build, Design, and Scale : Own and architect key systems and components of our platform. Work across the stack to design and implement scalable, efficient, and robust solutions.
- Collaborate Across Teams : Work closely with product, design, and other engineering teams to understand user needs, define technical requirements, and deliver end-to-end solutions that drive value.
- Drive Engineering Excellence : Set high standards for code quality, maintainability, and performance. Advocate for best practices and contribute to the development of internal engineering standards and guidelines.
- Innovate with Agility : Be comfortable with ambiguity and rapidly evolving requirements. Develop and deploy solutions iteratively, ensuring we are always learning and improving our processes.

Preferred Qualifications
The salary range for New York based candidates for this role is $180,000 - $240,000. We use a location factor to adjust this range for candidates that are located outside of geographic region of our New York office. Placement within the salary band is determined based on experience.
