Job Title : Assistant Professor ~ Music Therapy
Salary Range : $52,242 – $70,680 yearly
Appointment Type : Faculty
Rank and Time : 9-month full-time tenure-track
Position Summary : The Music Therapy program at Nazareth University invites applicants for a 9-month full-time tenure-track faculty position in the School of Music (Music Therapy), beginning in August, 2025. Applicants with expertise in culturally relevant clinical practice and teaching, behavioral health, and supporting student research are especially sought for this position.
Essential Functions :
- Teaching responsibilities in the undergraduate and graduate programs aligned with areas of expertise and experience, including undergraduate and graduate research and advising culminating projects.
- Support student clinical and internship supervision.
- Graduate Program Director – The successful applicant will be expected to take on the responsibilities of graduate program director within the first year of employment.
- Contribute to curriculum review and development.
- Participate in student recruitment activities.
- Departmental and university committee service, academic advising / mentoring, and professional scholarship.
