WHAT WE NEED YOU TO DO:
As the Registered Nurse (RN) Manager you will be responsible for maintaining the quality and adequacy of nursing practice; coordinating nursing and training programs; recognizing and assisting in resolving concerns on the Rehab Unit. You will partner with the DON and nursing leadership team to determine staffing patterns and resident care. You will update leadership of any daily concerns and ensure all appropriate documentation is completed. You will assist in survey compliance, quality assurance and staff development duties, as assigned. You will provide medical management, crisis and behavior management techniques to your team. You will assist with the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures.
THESE ARE THE QUALIFICATIONS WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
As the Registered Nurse (RN) Manager you will be responsible for maintaining the quality and adequacy of nursing practice; coordinating nursing and training programs; recognizing and assisting in resolving concerns on the Rehab Unit. You will partner with the DON and nursing leadership team to determine staffing patterns and resident care. You will update leadership of any daily concerns and ensure all appropriate documentation is completed. You will assist in survey compliance, quality assurance and staff development duties, as assigned. You will provide medical management, crisis and behavior management techniques to your team. You will assist with the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures.
THESE ARE THE QUALIFICATIONS WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Licensed by the Kentucky Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse (RN) or LPN
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
- Current BLS CPR certification (BLS)
- One year minimum of experience as a charge nurse in a Long Term Care setting, preferred
- IV Therapy course, preferred
- License/Certification: RN (Registered Nurse); CPR certification (BLS)
Work Hours:
- Full time Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:30p
- Salaried position
- Nursing On-Call Rotation required
