General Purpose
Nazareth Regional HS is seeking a Finance Coordinator that is energetic, hard-working and can keep accurate financial records, collect tuition, and develop good working relationships with our parents. The ideal candidate has strong interpersonal skills, can multi-task, exercises good judgement and works well under pressure and deadlines. This position reports directly to the Director of Operations.
The responsibilities and duties include, but not limited to:
- Assists with managing all daily financial transactions
- Responsible for outreach to families concerning tuition collections
- Actively collects tuition, maintains the data, and prepares all related correspondence
- Maintain filing system for tuition transactions and all students
- Updates the tuition spreadsheet daily
- Prepares all tuition related correspondence
- Works alongside the Business Manager and makes sure all tuition accounts are up to date and accurate
- Updates the FACTS tuition accounts daily and conducts a monthly review with Business Manager for accuracy
- Maintains School’s financial aid program
- Active participant in developing strategies for school tuition
- Schedules appointments and manages large volumes of phone calls
- Assist with all office related work as needed
- May be required to work some evenings or weekends
Skills and Qualifications
- High School graduate with 2 years of college
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites, specifically Excel
- Detail oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Highly dependable and organized
- Self-motivated with the ability to identify and complete needed tasks with minimal supervision
- Ability to handle and process confidential and sensitive information
Salary Commensurate with Experience
Job Types: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 hour
