About the Role
NBCUniversal Media, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Audio/Video Systems Engineer to join our team. As an Audio/Video Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining all audio/video systems of assigned Entertainment projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Installation: Manage all Audio/Video designs and installations across all Entertainment projects and initiatives.
- System Design Process: Lead Audio/Video system design process, supporting the development of 30/60/90% packages and navigating integration of elements with Technical Management team and other design areas.
- Day-to-Day Operations: Manage the day-to-day duties, priorities, and workflows of Entertainment Creative Development Audio/Video group.
- Communication and Collaboration: Manage inter and intra-departmental communication and interaction, to include initiating processes which facilitate improvements and efficiencies.
- On-Site Management: Provide onsite management of Audio/Video staff, both inter and intra-departmentally.
Requirements
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Theatrical Production or minimum 5 years in a related field, with emphasis in audio/video system design and/or implementation.
- Technical Skills: Expert classification in advanced audio systems such as Q-SYS, SMAART and Dante networking.
- Leadership and Communication: Strong leadership, communication, and organization skills, including in a personnel management capacity.
