NBC Connecticut is looking for a content producer to collaborate with our team of exceptional journalists to create engaging and compelling content for our broadcast and digital platforms.

Take charge of the big headlines with innovative showcasing and storytelling
Create memorable newscasts for television and digital platforms
Produce write and edit segments as assigned
Collaborate with an experienced awardwinning team
Innovate by participating in longform projects for our streaming services
Contribute ideas for stories based on the NBC Connecticut News Strategy
Fill in as a producer when needed on other NBC CT newscasts
Develop within the NBC Owned station group

The ideal candidate will :

Play an active role in the editorial process

Have strong written verbal and interpersonal communication skills

Have basic editing skills on nonlinear programs

Have strategic thinking researching and organizational skills

Have excellent timemanagement skills prioritize assignments to meet deadlines

Qualifications : Qualifications :

At least one year of relatedwork experience or equivalent experience

Eligibility Requirements :

Must be willing to work at the station in West Hartford CT

Must have a flexible schedule with ability to work any shift including holidays and weekends with short notice

Must have the ability to work any of a 24 x 7 shift

Must have a valid drivers license

Must be covered by Solutions NBCUs Alternative Dispute Resolution Program

Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States

Required on site : This position is required to be performed fulltime from an NBCUniversaldesignated worksite.
