Peacock is looking for a senior leader with broad experience and expertise synthesizing product value propositions into cohesive marketing strategies and deploying them across channels. Reporting to the VP, Product Marketing & MarTech, this role will be responsible for developing the Product Marketing organization and leading marketing campaigns that drive product education and feature adoption.
The successful candidate will have a blended background across marketing channels and product. They will be a polished leader, capable of managing a team to maximize the performance and individual growth of each direct report. They will be passionate about defining a culture which balances a process-driven approach with efficiency and accountability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish a repeatable lifecycle for launching product features, partnering with Product stakeholders from ideation through development and GTM execution
- Partner with insights team to identify key consumer audience segments and motivators for subscription
- Craft core value propositions for the overall product. Identify unique selling points for the consumer offering, subscription benefits, and product features, and distill clear and concise positioning to resonate with target audience segments
- Collaborate with Brand, Creative and Comms partners to develop consumer messaging across marketing channels, which captures and adheres to positioning; coordinate with channel owners on deployment to ensure consistent audience experience
- Oversee the development, maintenance, and dissemination “source-of-truth” materials which educate cross-functional team members on current positioning and corresponding messaging templates
- Construct, and operationalize the go-to-market approach for launching new Product features; collaborate with Product leaders from development to delivery, to align positioning, craft messaging and drive feature adoption through marketing
- Develop process for auditing implementation of positioning and impact of strategy once in market. Derive insights from analysis to feedback into positioning refinement
- Determine core conversion KPIs and lead the development of yearly OKRs, ensuring strategic roadmap ladders into overall goals and managing leadership expectations
- Foster strong relationships with cross-functional colleagues in Growth & Lifecycle Marketing, Marketing Strategy, Product, and Analytics to establish a focused, efficient and collaborative workflow
- Ensure comprehensive coverage of the content portfolio on site; assess depth of content coverage and coordinate with PR, Brand, and Content colleagues to ensure visibility
- Interface with Executive Leadership to report on progress of Product Marketing and conversion goals; craft and present concise narrative to ensure unified understanding of current state, projected trend, next steps and any needs or blockers
- Lead a team of Product Marketers with a variety of skill levels. Leverage experience to mentor junior teammates; teach and delegate to grow overall team skillset and output
