This position will be embedded with the Subscriber Forecasting team part of Peacocks Advanced Content Analytics department. Peacocks Subscriber Forecasting team develops shortterm and longterm views on growth of the Peacock subscriber base leveraging first and thirdparty data to discern trends in signups churn consumption and other growth metrics. We work with a broad set of stakeholders across the company to provide insights on the success of growth initiatives and develop longterm growth strategy for both subscribers and revenue. As the complexity of the forecasting process has increased so has the need for deeper and more insightful analysis to inform forecast inputs and to frame insightful findings to key stakeholders using forecast outputs. You will play a role in broadening the output of the forecasting team with a focus on (1) developing clear executivefacing narratives using first party data to explain Peacock subscriber growth trends (2) identifying analytical gaps in our forecasting models that can be informed by additional retrospective analyses and (3) conducing endtoend adhoc analysis of subscriber and content data from data querying to slide making.
Responsibilities :
- Become an expert on Peacocks firstparty growth metrics data and existing data infrastructure underlying it
- Write SQL queries to generate firstparty data sets that are tailormade for feeding an Excelbased forecasting model
- Build clean executivefriendly PowerPoint slides explaining trends in Peacock subscriber growth both for recurring reporting and more oneoff adhoc needs with limited handon guidance and a high degree of independence
- Interface with existing stakeholders of subscriber model to understand their needs and build model outputs and visualizations tailormade to those needs
- Become an expert on the operation of existing forecasting models with the goal of being able to independently tweak assumptions and generate scenario outputs for various stakeholder teams
- Develop endtoend data pipelines from SQL to Excel / PowerPoint to quickly update analyses and associated slides aimed at answering leadership questions around executive reporting subscriber growth and business performance
- Work closely with the rest of forecasting team members who are operating and improving forecast models developing a sufficient understanding of the models structures to be able to support those functions at times as needed

Salary range : $100000$160000 (bonus and longterm incentive eligible).
