The Production / Broadcast Engineer will be responsible for providing frontline broadcast engineering and technical support across multiple studios and control rooms within the Stamford Sports facility. The role involves supporting all broadcast systems and technology for live dayofair programs troubleshooting hardware and systems complying with computer security policies and managing projects that include system design integration and commissioning. This position requires a combination of maintenance and project management / system engineering skills. The support needs span seven days a week with certain periods requiring availability as part of a 24x7 schedule.
Responsibilities :
- Perform systemlevel troubleshooting of technical facilities including control rooms studio equipment audio equipment and associated computer systems.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on studio and control room equipment.
- Assist Studio Operations with technical setup in control rooms and studios.
- Collaborate with production and operations teams to implement technical solutions that meet production initiatives.
- Install and update equipment and systems software.
- Repair and troubleshoot equipment to the module level using industrystandard test equipment.
- Manage projects design systems and assist with system integration and commissioning.
