The SpinCo organization is looking for a Sr. Director, Talent Acquisition to join their team! The Sr. Director, Talent Acquisition will play a critical role in shaping and leading the company’s recruitment strategy. This individual will be responsible for designing and executing the talent acquisition strategy to attract top-tier candidates across various functions, including creative, technical, and operational teams. The Sr. Director will work closely with executive leadership and hiring managers to ensure the company builds a team that reflects the company’s values and commitment to excellence in the entertainment industry. Reporting to the SVP, Talent & Culture, you will have the opportunity to make a lasting impact by building and shaping a talented, dynamic workforce.
What you’ll do:
- Serve as the recruiting leader and thought partner to senior business leaders and HR Business Partners; inform business leaders on key talent issues, and propose creative ideas for identifying and attracting top talent in a competitive market
- Consultant to the senior and executive teams to thoroughly understand the talent needed to successfully deliver against the organization’s vision and long-term goals
- Development, planning, and execution of talent acquisition strategies for Corporate Functions inclusive of talent forecasting and pipelining, resource and relationship management
- Effectively manage, coach and train a team of recruiters to deliver excellent results; instill a standard of excellence in all aspects of the full life cycle hiring process
- Provide valuable contribution to overall management of Talent Acquisition team on the Talent Acquisition leadership team
- Ensure recruiting resources are appropriately allocated to support the most critical business initiatives, and recruitment and sourcing capabilities are designed and built to meet the evolving talent needs
- Effectively build relationships with industry organizations to monitor market trends, leverage key internal stakeholders to maximize effective outreach of talent within our employee’s network
- Successfully run point on large scale projects from inception to completion
- Utilize and report to business leaders on recruiting data and metrics to identify trends in the market and inform key decisions and provide solutions
Qualifications
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.
- 10 years of experience in talent acquisition, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role, ideally within the entertainment, media, or tech industries.
- Proven track record of building and scaling talent acquisition strategies for fast-growing companies.
- Experience recruiting for multiple functions, including creative, technical, and operations roles.
- Strong expertise in sourcing strategies, recruitment marketing, and employer branding.
- In-depth understanding of best practices in diversity, equity, and inclusion as it relates to talent acquisition.
- Demonstrated success in leading and developing a high-performing recruitment team.
- Willing to work overtime when required
- Willing to travel for work related business if necessary
