Peacock Viewing Product Design is seeking a Senior Product Designer to lead the evolution of our Content Discovery experience with expert understanding of UX strategy, systems thinking, and design excellence. We’re looking for a designer who not only excels at solving complex problems and aligning design with product goals, but who also has a passion for crafting seamless, elegant, and highly usable experiences that delight our viewers. What You’ll Do:
- Lead end-to-end design for Content Discovery experiences — from initial concepts to production-ready solutions that are scalable, intuitive, and visually compelling.
- Design with purpose and clarity, applying strong UX architecture and product thinking to solve complex problems and create user-centered, business-aligned solutions.
- Deliver high-quality, production-ready UX that meets platform standards, accessibility guidelines, and evolving design system practices.
- Communicate with influence, crafting compelling narratives that inspire, drive alignment, and gain buy-in across teams and leadership.
- Own projects with confidence, managing timelines, feedback loops, and cross-functional collaboration with independence and accountability.
- Translate insights into impact, using research and data to guide decisions, validate hypotheses, and shape thoughtful experiences.
- Foster team excellence, mentoring peers, sharing expertise, and contributing to a supportive, inclusive, and high-performing culture.
- Adapt and experiment quickly, embracing change with creative problem-solving and iterative execution that balances speed and quality.
Qualifications
- Degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5 years of experience designing digital products across platforms (web, mobile, TV, etc.).
- Experience designing AI-powered experiences with a strong understanding of generative AI technologies, use cases, and emerging trends.
- Deep understanding of interaction design, usability, accessibility, and user-centered design principles.
- Proficiency with modern design and collaboration tools (e.g., Figma, Miro, Jira, Framer, etc.).
- Ability to operate independently, manage multiple projects, and collaborate in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to lead design initiatives and guide others through the creative process.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions to stakeholders and cross-functional partners.
- A portfolio showcasing engaging, high-quality work across platforms with a strong point of view.
- Deep knowledge of cross-platform usability standards and UI specifications.
- Familiarity with platforms such as Roku, Fire TV, Samsung, Apple TV, and X1.
- Experience designing for accessibility, global audiences, and ad-supported experiences is a plus.
