As a Sr Network Security Engineer, you will:
- Work with and through others, building and maintaining relationships.
- Associate will be responsible for day-to-day operations and maintenance of the Enterprise Network.
- Associate must operate as escalation point for noc/soc team.
- Associate must also assist with mentoring junior level associates with network technology.
- Be an active participant in maintaining guidelines, structure, and established policies as you work with and for others.
- Provide guidance and support regarding client concerns, operational questions, risk management and associate concerns.
- Collaborate with the bank’s Enterprise Technology.
- Participation in community and business functions to ensure a positive image for the bank within the regions marketplace and establishing referral contacts within the community is an important part of the role.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Cisco Routing & Switching configuration and troubleshooting experience.
- Candidate must be able to configure Cisco catalyst or nexus switches out of the box to full production running state.
- Juniper Routing & Switching configuration and troubleshooting experience. Candidate must be able to configure Juniper MX router and EX switches out of the box to full production running state.
- Candidate must have experience administering Infoblox NIOS for IPAM, DNS, and DHCP.
- Candidate will be responsible for administering SolarWinds for network performance monitoring and network configuration management.
- Candidate will be responsible for administering the Meraki cloud managed switches.
- Must have a strong understanding of BGP, route maps, prefix lists, vlans, and the security configuration network router and switches.
- Candidate must have experience setting up and maintaining enterprise network monitoring for both availability and security.
- Candidate must possess strong troubleshooting skills relating to network outages and/or impairments.
- Must work well with others, including vendors.
- Must be willing to travel infrequently for networking projects.
- Candidate must understand layers 1-4 of the OSI model.
- Administration experience with HPE Aruba Cloud managed wireless AP deployments.
- Experience administering and utilizing Cisco ThousandEyes for network performance troubleshooting.
- Experience configuring Cradlepoint devices via cloud manager.
- Experience with configuration and troubleshooting of F5 Load Balancing and security modules.
- Experience operating and troubleshooting Palo Alto firewalls relating to routing, Nat, policies, and decryption.
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting AWS/Azure networking.
- Experience operating and troubleshooting SDWAN implementations.
- Troubleshooting via network packet capture analysis.
