Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) – Edgewater Park, Elementary School Setting

Position: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Location: Edgewater Park
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:15 AM - 3:15 PM
About the Role: As an RBT in an elementary school, you will play a crucial role in assisting students with developmental and behavioral challenges. You will work alongside teachers and specialists to provide one-on-one and small group behavior interventions using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques. This role allows you to directly impact students' academic and social growth in a supportive, inclusive, and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and small group behavior interventions using ABA techniques.
- Conduct intensive table teaching sessions to develop academic and social skills.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to manage behavior and encourage positive student interactions.
- Collect and record student progress data; adjust interventions as necessary.
- Foster a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and team members to ensure cohesive support for each child.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, Special Education, or related field (required).
- Current RBT certification (required).
- Experience with young children, especially in school or clinical settings, is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of ABA principles and techniques.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
- A passion for helping children succeed and grow in a positive and inclusive environment.
