National Breaker Services, LLC (Middlebury, CT) is an electrical power industry manufacturer of Medium Voltage Switchgear and a leader in breaker life extension. We design and build electrical equipment for utilities companies throughout the USA.
Our Citadel product line is growing such that NBS requires an experienced Administrative Operations Lead to assist the company’s CFO.
We are seeking a talented, eager to learn, detail- oriented professional with strategic mindset and leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
· Participate in overseeing all administrative aspects of daily operations and ensures everything runs smoothy (includes phone, security systems maintenance)
· Responsible for Sales Order entries (includes onboarding); Invoicing and Customer folders maintenance (includes follow up after delivery/installation).
· Partake in company compliance matters (OSHA; Customer’s reports like minority reports and customer website maintenance) and maintain the programs paperwork.
· Assist in managing staff which includes hiring, training and evaluating employees, benefits administration and work rules manuals. Preparation of all HR programs/events.
· Supports Purchasing Department. Aids in vendor contract negotiations, international freight paperwork preparation and other (backup for purchasing clerk)
· Assist Quality Control Manger in maintaining the corporate programs and its paperwork.
· Other special projects as needed.
· Shadow CFO to continuously learn and grow your capabilities and contributions.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or relevant field.
· Proven experience in operation management or similar role.
· Strong organizational and leadership skills. Exceptional communication abilities.
· Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and capacity to prioritize them.
· Strong understanding of business functions including HR, finance and supply chain.
· Confidentiality and integrity.
· Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Knowledge of ADP software a plus.
