We are seeking a skilled Relationship Banker to join our team at NBT Bank. As a key member of our banking team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality customer service and responsiveness while providing consultative customer service to ensure both internal and external customers' needs are met.
This role involves efficient and timely processing of moderate to complex transactions and other services accurately in accordance with policy and procedures. You will also be responsible for opening and processing new deposit account types and consumer lending transactions. The successful candidate will educate customers and refer & cross-sell the appropriate products and services that meet the customer's needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process daily transactions and associated general customer and account servicing duties with a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
- Provide a consultative customer service approach to ensure a clear understanding of the customer's needs versus wants.
- Engage in referral and relationship management in accordance with established objectives and goals.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Minimum one year experience in related banking positions preferred.
- Previous customer service, sales, and consumer lending experience preferred.
