We are looking for an entry-level Equipment Demonstrator/New Product Introduction (NPI) Specialist to join our team at N C Machinery Co. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience operating heavy equipment and a strong ability to connect with construction professionals. You will play a key role in supporting the launch and adoption of new Caterpillar products, ensuring customers and internal teams understand their features, benefits, and applications. Training will be provided to help you succeed in this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the rollout of new Caterpillar products to customers and dealership staff.
- Conduct product demonstrations, highlighting features and operational benefits.
- Work closely with construction professionals to understand their equipment needs.
- Provide feedback to the sales and product teams on customer insights and product performance.
- Support the Regional Sales Manager in executing product launch strategies.
- Train customers and dealership teams on the proper use and advantages of new products.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and on-site demonstrations as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
- Familiarity with operating heavy equipment (Caterpillar experience preferred).
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with construction professionals.
- Interest in learning about heavy machinery and its applications.
- Ability to travel within the region for product launches and demonstrations.
- Self-motivated with a passion for customer service and product education.
- Minimum of a high school diploma/GED.
- 2-3 years heavy equipment operation experience.
- A valid driver's license to properly and safely operate our equipment.
